Does anyone have any issues with the channels INHD1 & INHD2?  I just  made the switch to TWC from DTV.  So far everything works on the TWC HD-DVR.  Although, the INHD Channels seem to have picture drop and audio drop.  All the other channels are fine.  Call TWC and said they would send someone out.  Guy came and said I need a new box?  He didn't have one though. Why would every channel work fine except those two?  Two hours later the cahnnels are coming in just fine.  Any thoughts?

Maybe they change from Sat to TWC isn't the best choice.  All this just for HD-DVR.

DVR's have a known issue with video/audio tiling & breakup.  Assuming the tech is right, and your signals are okay, this might me what you are experiencing.  In that case, a new DVR will not help... you would need to get a regular HD set top.  A fix is in the works, but it seems to be taking a while to get here.

I had a similar INHD & INHD2 GBay TWC cable problem

where these two channels only had a frequent white screen.

My Box was SA-3250-HD  STB....  Box was never changed..

Apparently these 2 HD channels 'run at the highest

frequency grouping' in the TWC RG-6 Cable feed.....

My signal level was too low.... & these two chans

'disappeared' first...    along with much pixelation on

    other HD Cable chans....

TWC rewired the outdoor feed & 3 basement runs in RG-6,

added their 3 way unbalanced splitter...... all was Fine!

Tech said that Sony 34HS510 made a DTV picture out

   of a Junk Signal......

Signal level now runs at +10db on 'Good' leg,

+7db on other two legs without the SA-3250-HD Box

attached....       3250-HD box subtracts 7db more into

the HDTV Port....  coming off the +10db splitter leg..

I have no problems with INHD or INHD2 with the TWC DVR. I have more problems with the locals, CBS and ABC, but they are much better now than they were six months ago.

At one time I had problems with HBO and Showtime a lot just on one TV set. They ran a brand new cable to that set and all was fixed.

Our HD non-DVR box goes thru more splitters than my HD-DVR, and it tends to have a few issues with the iNHD stations while all the other HD channels are fine. Those seem to be on the lower-bitrate side, compared to most of the other HD channels... maybe because of this it's more prone to picture breakup with a weaker signal?

thanks for all the feedback.  Seems funny that everyone here that I have read has had one problem or another with TWC.  My house is all wired with RG6  my DTV has never had a problem with anything.  When the tech came back yesterday day he said RG59 is better.?.  He said that might make my stuff work better.  I decided to stick with my DTV and drop TWC.  I tried TWC for about 12 hours and that the analog looked bad on my big screen and the boxes are about what DTV were 5 years ago.  the TWC DVR is NOT Tivo!!  To many little things I would miss with that.  It's to bad, I really was hopping TWC would be better than it was.  HD-DVR was a real selling feature.

Hey, at least I tried to make the switch.  Now I know!

Thanks again!
