Hey... Hey... Hey...  Didn't I see Barry on HDnet in HDTV..... I would watch a test pattern in HDTV......

Mike Sheahan

I would love to see a test pattern in HDTV to adjust my set.

I caught one once as TMJ was turning on there evening NBC stuff, but only enough time to do a few of the setups.

Luckily I got the most important Black level done before it went away.

When CBS was just getting going with their digital signal...they broadcast a test pattern in 16:9. It was great...I adjusted my overscan/pincushion/etc. according to this test pattern.
When I had my TV calibrated, the guy who did it asked how I was able to get my overscan dialed in so closely. I told him how I did it and he said I did a pretty good job.
Hey Jim or Sean...how 'bout it? How about a test signal for like an hour or two once a week so that tweakers can sorta get dialed in using a HD signal in 16:9. I think that would be great!

As a matter of fact, I am gonna make this a main post to catch the attention of Sean of Jim.
