Another Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas is underway and SkyRETAILER.com is providing the news from the trade show floor. Among the updates for today, Terk Technologies - now owned by Audiovox Electronics - plans to unveil its BMS-44 and BMS-48 multi-switches that are designed to facilitate reception of DirecTV HDTV programming.

Among SkyRETAILER's news, Humax USA will be revealing a number of DVD recording products, including a LCD television with both TiVo capabilities and a DVD recorder. And, the Custom Electronic Design and Installation Association (CEDIA) introduced the development and implementation of CEDIA University's first professionally developed Electronic Systems Technician (EST) core curriculum.
