Electronics manufacturer LG.Philips will demo its TFT-LCDS for LCD TVs at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in January.

As part of the showcase, LG.Philips will demonstrate the 55-inch wide full HD LCD for HDTVs and several XGA LCDs for HDTVs, ranging in size from 23- to 42-inch wide at the Las Vegas show.

Additionally, LG.Phillips will debut its AMOLED display prototype, a 20.1-inch single plate low temperature polysilicon (LTPS), active matrix organize light emitting diode example. The technology is for future generation televisions, to improve the display response time and reduce power consumption.

At CES the Seoul-based manufacturer will also demo several LCD monitors for inside automotives, including the 8-inch wide VGA LCD for rear-seats.
