So Sean, how far along would you say Fox 6 "looks to be" on there tower work??

I realize you probably don't want to comment, but feel free to make up an alternate board login.

We haven’t seen any activity. The equipment is there.. a platform is up about 100 feet from the top.. but we haven’t noticed any workers.

In true jutice, www.hdpictures.com  has greyed out WITI-6 with a note at the bottom stating that greyed out listings are ones that were either broadcasting at one time or broadcasting too low power to receive. At least they won't get undeserved recognition.

I have trained a powerful telescope on the activities at the top of the WITI tower. Repeated changes of lenses and fine focusing reveals the brand of FRS radio duct taped to the top of the antenna is Motorola. Two thin wires run down the side of the tower to a 9 volt battery holder on ground level. Volunteers for battery changes are being sought on their web site. It may be a Fox plot to get all HDTV owners to move to within 2 miles of their tower.....

I'd see an optomotrist.....their FRS radio is on their Radar tower at Green Bay and Brown Deer not on their main tower.

LOL, You guys are funny!

and I mean that in the best possible way!

Sorry Gregg, but you forget they sell those FRS's in pairs. Probably bought the combo package at Target. The original is still on the station tower, the matching unit is on the big tower. Ought to get at least another 200 to 300 yards off of this.

Yeah but I know what kind of microwave they have between the studio and the transmitter tower and they don't have room to send another program stream and I know they aren't gonna spend the money on 2 ATSC encoders and have one at the station and one at the tower.  I figured they used the extra radio for their ENG truck crews.  I actually repair their ENG radios, they are a customer of mine and FRS radios might be an upgrade to their 1975 vintage /\/\otorola portables.

Yeah, now all HD Pictures needs to do is to take an HTML class or two so they can create a cross compatable webpage that will display in all web browsers.
