Samsung TS360 Software Download Problem

After installing a new TS360, the box announced that it would download a software update.  It went into a deep sleep for about 2-3 minutes, rebooted, etc., and then announced that the upgrade had failed and it would try again, soon.

Is this just my box, or is it a known, or common problem?

That box is crap.  Call D* and tell them you are having problems.  I had problems with the access card and the card reader.  I also had audio sync issues watching ESPN HD.  A call to D* with the last problem and they sent out a new box.  There is a post farther down about this issue as well.

Samsung/D* must have heard my complaint, 'cause sometime today, the software was successfully downloaded -- now at 1.2.16, vs. 1.2.04 as shipped.

Still, I take "murdoc's" warning at face value, and I'll watch how the TS360 performs.  As I've said elsewhere, at least this unit (and D*) have the CBS channels (58-1, -2, etc.) in the correct location, which is more than I can say for Tivo and the HD 10-250.
