I just bought a new 80g hard drive.  The drive letters for my hard drives are now C and F.  I would like to change that.  I know how to but when I try to use Computer aManagement it says that the file compmgmt.msc is missing or corrupt.  How can I solve this problem?

Thanx!

This belongs in C:\WINDOWS\system32 folder. You may be able to pull it off your Windows disk and replace it. I hope this helps.

If that doesn't work, try booting off of your Windows setup CD and choose the Repair option.

Are you using Fdisk?  I think it asks if you wanted to have more than 1 disk designation, or rather have teh single disk designation.

This of course is all before you format the drive.
