Charter HD in Wausau & Wisc Rapids

I have relatives looking for/at HDTV  south of Wausau..

  As of Monday, this week, Charter Comm has launched

  HDTV Cable 'WI mid State'...     To get HD Cable, you must

  sign up for SD Digital Cable... yuk...

  They seem to offer now 3 Wausau HD local stations (ABC

   CBS & PBS ) and

  3 or 4 other HD networks (incd ESPN-HD)....

   Cost of Motorola 5100 or 5300? Set Top Box is $7/mo  .....

   Cost for Minimum HD package is $62 per month ball park

   with Analog & Digital mandatories Chans included...

  Not included in the 'local HD deal' is Eau Claire NBC-HD

    which is 60 miles away & available via OTA..
