here! TV, the premium programming service targeting gay and lesbian audiences, said it reached an agreement with DirecTV to offer the channel as a subscription service to more than 13.5 million customers of the satellite TV company.

here! TV will become available on DirecTV channel 190 beginning Dec. 1.

DirecTV currently offers a monthly selection of here! TV titles on a pay-per-view platform, but the new deal will allow the DBS service to offer the channel 12 hours a day, seven days a week. The service will sell for $9.99 a month, or on an a la carte basis as an individual three-hour block for $5.99 per block.
