Well my wife approved it and I'm now on the road to doing a computerized receiver so I can record things.  I've ordered the HiPix card and found a great deal on a refurbished HP computer.  Sorry they're all gone...but here's what I've got coming UPS today.
HP 750C
1.8 GHz Pentium 4
512 Meg Ram
80 Gig Hard Drive
CD/RW drive
DVD drive
56k modem
10/100 NIC card
Great video and sound card
Many extras
$635.00 with warranty.....

I remember my first real business computer a Xerox 820 (ran CPM), 2-8" floppys.....
$3800.00.

Now if they could do for Autos what they've done for computers I could buy a Porsche Carrera for $10,000.00

Yeah right.

A $10K Porsche would be a great idea!  As long as it wasn't running MS Windows. Can you imagine... 120 mph and everything locks up when a new song comes on the radio.  The windshield becomes a big blue screen...

BTW, Nice deal on the computer!
