I waited to see if anyone else noticed, but not so far, so here goes.

WMMF-TV Channel 68 (Analog) is now on the air from their new 400' tower near Neda (Hwy 33 & Madison Rd.) in Dodge County northwest of Milwaukee.

The format seems to be Christian / Family programming.

No sign yet of WMMF-DT Channel 44, hopefully soon.

On separate towers at the same location are WWRS-TV Channel 52 (Analog), WWRS-DT Channel 43, and WMDC-FM 98.7 Mhz.

I can see these towers from my home, and I still have to be pointed at them to get WWRS-DT 43.  It must be running milliwatts.

No sign of ch. 68 here in Muskego.  Also I monitored 98.7 lst night and I only logged WFMT Chicago.  I'll try swinging the antenna to the north for WMDC.

I listen to the "great 98" all the time here in Hartland. They have a nice music selection (60's thru some 80's)  and much fewer commercial breaks. A refreshing change. As for the TV channels, I can get TV 52's digital signal on 43 without any problem...except there is nothing that I care to watch. I wonder sometimes if 43 digital, like WVCY's digital 22 has long stretches where absolutely no one is watching.

I can't get the TBN digital probably because Waukesha has a LPTV analog on ch. 43 which is basically a waste since all it airs is nothing but Home Shopping.

I can tell the digital signal interfering with the analog.  They have applied to the FCC to request a move to ch. 47 which I would think would be a mistake as it can cause interference to people in western Waukesha who like to watch WMSN-TV in Madison.

Isn't 52 out of Mayville a TBN station?  Must be a big need for religious broadcasts in Dodge county.  I'm not complaining mind you.  Just confused as to how much different the programming could be.

Yes WWRS-TV, ch. 52 and WWRS-DT, ch. 43 are both out of Mayville.  Mayville is not far away from Waukesha and Waukesha has a LPTV station on ch. 43.  It's stupid that the FCC would assign both on ch. 43 when they are so close.  I would think in this case WWRS-DT, ch. 43 has more priority over a LPTV station.  Thus the LPTV either has to move to another channel or go off the air.

The LPTV is seeking a move to channel 47, about 60 miles east of Madison which has WMSN-TV, ch. 47.

The Channel 68 in Fond du Lac recently changed call letters to WWAZ.

I can't believe the Feds are even handing out new analog licenses!  I guess they really don't care about the conversion to digital very much.
