Well I just got off the horn with a HD CSR and was told that based on my physical address I do not qualify for CH 88 because in addition to WITI, there is also another FOX affiliate, WMSN. I have no idea where WMSN is located nor what channel number it is. Anyway, I would have to get a waiver from WMSN and then if it was granted, there would be a $2.25 charge per month for CH 88 & 89 HD and CH 388 & 389 SD. I was also told that after the MLB playoffs, there would be no more programming on CH 88 & 89, only the SD feed for CH 388 & 389. Long and short is I will stick with my CH 6-1 HD Fox feed.

Turn your antenna around...WMSN is Madison....I would think you should be able to receive it.  Their digital assigment is Channel 11.

No need to turn my antenna around - I get 6-1 just fine. My real issue was that I am in between two Fox affiliates - one is O&O and the other is not - therefore I am not eligible for CH88; without a waiver plus $2.25/month.

Is baseball all that is shown on this channel?  Whenever I tune to it all it says upcoming-baseball.

Gregg Lengling

That's because you are tuning in before the games.  It only comes active during a MLB playoff game.

Hey Greg,

But that's all these channels are for Baseball?  Not any Fox programming?

Gregg Lengling

Eventually 88 will be the East Coast Feed and 89 will be the West Coast Feed of FOX...however they have some problems apparently with the  contract at this time and only have permission to air the MLB games at this time.  Hopefully they will work it out in the future.  The 80 series channels are typically for persons not able to receive a local network station, the only reason we are able to receive 88 is that channel 6 is owned and operated by FOX.
