I called DTV Sunday night because I wasn't getting anything on Channel 88 (or 89). They said there was nothing they could do on their end--it was being controlled by the local Fox station. They did say I should be eligible to receive it because I meet all the requirements. Should I be calling Fox 6 about this??

Call them back for some reason they don't have you set up on the system right.  You should be getting CH88 when it is active.  I get it...however for right now the only time it seems active is when a Playoff Game is on.

thanks; will do. (They did say before that it's only for MLB games)

I received Ch 88 & 89 the first day these channels became available (it was the first nite of the playoffs). Since then Ch 88 is not available for me either.

I did get a broadcast on channel 88 for game one of the ALCS but have not had anything since then. Channels 88 & 89 do appear on the guide but no broadcast. Let us know what Fox says.

Same here,  I only got it at the beginning.  I checked last night and could not get it.

Right now its only the playoff that are on Fox HD.  The only channel we should be getting is 88.

I have been getting the playoff's on FOX on D* since day one. I just watched the early game yesterday, flipping back and forth between D* and OTA even to see who had the better picture.

I know it is the only thing on that channel constant reruns of MLB games, are there plans for any other programming?

AJA

I too was getting 88 for game one and since then nothing.  I called D*TV tonight and was told that Fox and D*TV were in negotiations and that the random programming that has been aired is just testing.  What kind of crapp is that?  If some of you are getting 88 tonight for the game it obviosly is not testing.

I am calling back right now.

Just got off the phone with D*TV.  Apparently it is the Local Fox station in each markets decision!  They decide what zip codes they will allow the HD feed on channel 88 too.  With our local fox 6 OTA feed so piss poor I can't imagine why they would exclude any SE WI zip code!

Anyone know who we can contact at FOX 6 to either strenghten their signal like ABC and NBC or allow more zip codes the feed on 88?

Meanwhile stuck watching MLB and NFL in SD $%*@ing FOX!  Go Sox!

I have gotten the FOX feed of the games on 88 every day/night since the ALCS & NLCS games have started.

The national feed is not being sent full time yet.  It has something to do with a threat of a lawsuit from E* for not providing E* with the FOX national HD feeds.  At least that is what they are saying over on AVS.

There shouldn't be anyone in the FOX 6 DMA that is blocked from getting the HD Feed on 88 now for MLB and full-time when that happens because our FOX is an O&O,  unless you are also in another FOX stations area as well, and then I am not sure how that would work.

Well I got game 1 and nothing since on Ch 88. Why are some of you getting Ch 88 and others (me included) not getting it?

I spent over 90 minutes on the phone with Customer Serice last night. At the beginning  the Level 1 CSR said he caould get Ch 88 for me, then 45 minutes later he said that there is no Channel 88. When I repeated my story to the Level 2 CSR (including the email I recieved from D* Customer Support saying I was eligible), the first thing she said was "Are you sure it was DirecTV?" I ultimately was transferred to Sales & Marketing so I could request a waiver. S&M took my info, asked if I wanted 88 or 89 & that was it. He also said it was $1.50/month.

About 15 minutes later I was watching the game on Channel 89 (even though I had told him I should be getting the East feed.)
