Issues with SA HD DVR TWC

I just got TW service on Thursday to replace my D* HD service.

I was watching TNT HD last night and had intermiitent issues with video/audio quality.  It would just freak out about every 10 min for a split second - then refresh and go on.  It got really annoying after the 5th or 6th time.

I called a couple other people and they have the same box and the same problems.  But they are just used to it - and have not complained.

Is anyone else seeing this issue?  And what is TW doing about it?

Thanks for the help.

Saturday I took a friend's SD DVR in Kenosha and exchanged it for the HD DVR (in their presence showing ID) now that I have their 46" HD-ready Mits installed in-wall with a Sony 400-disc DVD/CD/SACD changer and Sony ES receiver/amp using all-Monster cabling, all racked up overhead with shelves and smoked-glass doors to contain it, still allowing for heat disapation and separation for the  DVR and receiver/amp.

The result is that the HD DVR worked perfectly, no pixelation, no dropouts, excellent channel changing and all...
AND I was watching TNT-HD from 4-8PM here in Kenosha. :)

The reason I mention the installation it that it was relatively easy, gave the HT owner what they wanted in a nice package and no HD DVR problems with this setup.

I really tried to make it pixelate and drop signal, doing extensive channel changing and all...no problems...maybe I got lucky.

I would strongly suggest either exchanging your box, checking its hookups, getting a TWC person to check your signal strength or try rebooting your box by unpluging it for 30 minutes.

Addtionally, try making sure you push the play button in case the DVR is slipping on its hard drive which sometimes works for me.:D

Had problems with the TW cable box, TW said it is a software problem in there box. Put in cable card and have no problems.

What do you mean by a cable card?  I am pretty ignorant on this.

Don't no what kind of tv you have but the new Mit. you can put in a cable card instead of a box and it works better than the box but you cannot use indemand channels or the guide.
