Does anyone have any updated information on the F0X-6 HDTV (OTA) situation?  surely they are not broadcasting at full power yet (I hope, since I cannot pull a reliable signal).

I am in Port Washington, have two different antennaes mounted about 3 stories up with a rotor so I can fiddle with direction.  The best I can get is very bad pixellation and audio dropouts - nothing close to being able to actually watch a program (or football game!).

My undertanding is that they are probably setup so that if you are west (or northwest or southwest) you can pull the signal, but I am directly north, if not slightly northeast.

thanks, Scott:bang:

FOX6 is running low power into a low power antenna with a pattern almost only beaming west from their main tower site.  They have plans to go full power but they don't expect to do that until next summer.  Meanwhile Directv will have 2 FOX HD feeds hopefully in a few days.

Gregg -

There have been posts on other forums that the D* guide is showing Ch 86 & 87. As of today, I don't show this info.

What gives?

All I've heard so far are rumors, I figure if the bird is lit up for those channels everyone would show it...but just like you I don't show it yet.  But the rumors are pretty strong that it should happen in the next couple days.

At my North Shore home no FOX digital signal. I have a roof top antenna and get 11 differant digital signals. I get all other networks in HD OTA. NO FOX. I just laugh when fox says they broadcast in HD.

Something has to have changed. I live west of Waukesha and was never able to get the signal. Then all of a sudden last Tuesday, the same day DirecTV added Fox HD to their line-up, Fox 6 also showed up OTA on channel 6.1 and I've had it 24/7 ever since, no matter what the weather has been like. Don't know what happened, but it sure was nice watching the Packer game this past Sunday, along with the MLB playoff games the past week. Picture and sound on Fox HD are spectacular.

It's line of site... may it be due to leaves starting to fall off the trees?

I also live west of Waukesha (just south of 94 & east of 83).  I do not regularly get 6-DT.  When I do, it comes in pretty weak and pixelated.  My roof top channel master antenna points east-north-east.  I get all the other DT signals.
