HD Antenna (Indoor) HELP!!

I just picked up a new BIG HD set for my theater room.  I was using a little Zenith "HD" antenna for my upstairs hd set.  The thing worked great for living way up here in Port Washington.  I was able to get everything BUT Fox.  Now I have added 50' of cable from this little indoor antenna and I lost the WB, UPN, and CBS.  CBS only worked when it wanted to but the WB and UPN were always on.  The is a non amplified antenna so I'm sure adding 50' is the problem.  I am only running one TV off the antenna so I would split the signal.  I thought that would be bad.

Does anyone have any ideas for me to get all of my stations back?  The TV is in a basement now so I'm sure that antenna won't work there.  I REALLY don't want to put a antenna on the house.  I would like to stick with a indoor.

Thanks for any help you can give!!!

I went on line today to RadioShack.com and the have a In-Line Signal Amplifier.  Would this help with my set up.  It sounds like it would.  They get $35 for it and it states it's for cable runs upto 100ft.  I'm only running the 50'.

Any thoughts?

Thanks!
