Comcast cable in the Chicagoland area launched a new sports channel on Oct. 1st.

Here are the interesting parts:
All possible home games of the Chicago professional teams will be broadcast in HD on their HD version of the channel.

Comcast is in discussions with D-TV and neighboring cable systems to carry the channel since it holds all the rights to all the local pro teams.

Guess we should all bug Time Warner and Comcast to carry it in our area.

We don't want to watch DaBears or any other Chicago team here in Milwaukeeland!  :guns: :guns: :guns: :guns: :guns:

Well, it is useful for the 20+ times they play Milwaukee teams.

We might get it here in Kenosha, we already have Fox Sports Net Chicago which carries quite a few Cubs and White Sox games. Plus we get all of the major local Chicago channels, minus the HD.  Unfortunately, there are a lot of FIB's that live here.
