EchoStar's DISH Network added an additional 14 Chinese channels to its Chinese programming lineup to create the Great Wall TV Package featuring 17 channels. The service, which sells for $29.99 a month, launched Thursday. Channels from China Central Television are among the new channels added to the package.

Speed Channel Keeps on Truckin' - A new weekly TV series targeted at truck enthusiasts will debut this spring on Speed Channel. "Truck Universe" is produced by Brenton Productions, which also works on "Two Guys Garage," "Crank and Chrome" and "Shade Tree Mechanic." The new show explores the upgrading of trucks, vans and sports utility vehicles. And "Truck Universe" also includes road tests not only of trucks but field tests of various products, tools and equipment, the network said.

More Movies Online - RealNetworks and Starz Encore Group this week announced two additions to "STARZ! Ticket on Real Movies," a premium subscription movie service delivered via high-speed broadband connections to PCs. The $12.95 per month service now offers about 150 new release and classic Hollywood titles ? representing a 50 percent increase in title count. Also available is a new, progressive download feature that enables viewers to begin watching a movie while the download is in progress, the companies said.

DISH Launches 150th Market - EchoStar said its DISH Network service will offer local channels to Terre Haute, Ind., and the surrounding area. With the market addition, DISH Network local channels are now available in 150 U.S. markets, covering more than 93 percent of all U.S. TV households, the company said.
