The football game ran long, so CBS started Cold Case 25 minutes late. Season Premier.

Unfortunately, the DVR doesn't know when that is going to happen, so I missed the end. Did anybody watch the show? What was the ending? Who did it?

BTW, I have set the show to record 1 hour long from now on, because CBS did this all the time last year too.

The junkie brother of the young victim did it, the one that detoxed himselm and joined the National Guard.  He did it while hurting for a fix.
