Hey guys, am I missing something with FoxSports-HD?  That station seem to be on only about once a month. Do you guys on the DirectTv side get more programs then that?  Now that's one station that is a total waste of time and money.

I thought the samething too, why add a HD channels that 90+% of the time there is nothing on it.  Even if they are not showing Brewers they could be showing something else.

You guys are correct.  They should get rid of this station so that we could start threads about "why are the Bucks & Brewers never in HD?."

Direct Tv doesn't even have this station so I guess there is a ton more programming on cable.

The station is what it said it would be.  Showing the occasional local HD sports broadcast.  What show do you want in HD so bad that is even on that channel?  Beyond the Glory???

I hope that we'll see more local/regional HD sports from the channel, but that will hopefully come with time.

Why does it have to be delgated to just showing the occasional Brewer games and the rest of the time it is off the air. It there is other games that FoxHD is broadcasting and it does not interfere with a local game why can't they show that?  Why must it always have a "local hook". Even 2 non WI teams would be better than a blank screen.

What would be nice is if they could put up useful HD test patterns on this channel when it is not in use. Could use it for some calibration at least.

Cheers,

It would be nice if they showed some college basketball or football in HD.  But I don't think much is being broadcast by FSN in HD anywhere.  I know they can't show out of market NBA or MLB games (even though they did occasionally pop up on there in July).  In fact, the all-star game was on that channel in HD.

I'm very curious to see how many Bucks games they plan to show this year.  Last year it was about 10 games.  Hopefully that will at least double or triple this year.

There were 2 or 3 baseball games on over the weekend, I think it was Saturday.

If FoxSports gonna show local broadcast, then I wished we could get the badgers football and basketball game on it.  Just seem really odd to have that channel off most of the time, while there are all those college games going on during the weekend.
I think I read that somewhere that TWC had a contract problem with FoxSports.
