That's too bad that TWC is going to put ESPN-HD on the seperate digital package.  I thought that is was their practice that if the HD channel was going to repeat the same shows on HD, it would be part of the standard package... IE with Discovery HD, Fox Sports, HD, and PBS HD.

Not worth the $7.00/month for one football game a week

Directv has always charged for ESPN-HD, about $4 more than the TWC charge and does not offer INHD 1 & 2,either.:D

It is your choice to not subscribe, but I don't see any HD package subscriber from either satellite provider complaining, either, even with more money to cough up than TWC.

Note too, TWC did not raise the rate for the HD pkg to get this...it probably had to try to recover the price-gouging from Disney to make it happen...

Sugerray you are really missing out on that HD package that TW has, not only do you get a few nice movie channels, but they do show nice concerts and HD only shows.  On one of them, they had a great classic U2 concert last week.  ESPN-HD  will also show great college football,  basketball, and hockey. Plus pro basketball, and football.  I think ESPN-HD will be a great add-on if you have a HDTV.

If they decide to charge more and they add Bravo HD+ I will still have more than Directv's current HD package offerings:)

If you count InDecrap and TNT-HD I don't think I'm missing much. Plus I'm getting 6 months of HD programming for free so I don't care.

Actually it is worth. Not only because of 1 NFL game per week (do not forget that Packers will be on also and will not be duplicated on WISN12). They have plenty college games (2-3) on Saturday (including Badgers). Then NBA season starts, so it will be 300 live events on ESPN HD and 100 live events on ESPN-2 HD.
Then I find it fascinating this week Sportcenter with almost all NFL games reviews in HD.

So it is well worth. And do not forget you will get some extra channels too.

It is worth $7 on TWC, $10 on Dish, $11 on DirecTV, and $0 on Voom (included in basic tier).

And I love Voom. PQ is great despite all negative reviews at AvsForum. I do not get those reviews from people who never had Voom service. With Voom OTA I even have now Fox6 at 92%. I could not get it with my attic antenna with Dish 6000.
