I think if I hold my breath any longer I'll be dead.  Any one of you out there have a Packer TV schedule for the fall.  Maybe we'll get more than 2 Monday night Packer games this fall.  Ahhh man those 2 games last fall on ABC were excellent.. You guy's still remember those.  I know I do......  Drool, Drool:bow:

I was hoping for the best for you OTA guys.  It just looks like they moved the headstone, but gorgot to move the grave.
Reading into Gregg's post, it still seems something is in the works.

when it comes to the grass roots rebelion I'm in.  WITI and Fox are a complete dissaster when it comes to HDTV or for that matter DTV.  I don't care what they will be like in a few months, years, decades.  They have no respect for the OTA crowd.. and given that they're a OTA station that's not a good thing... for all I care they can kill their switch to TWC... there is no license for them to broadcast over cable but there is for OTA so if they want to be a cable station then give up your broadcast right and channel to someone that will actually broadcast it over the AIR.

Just a clarification. Not sure where anyone got the idea that this move to the main tower was going to be their upgrade to full power.

This Thread from April of 2003 clarifies that while an increase in heght was going to happen, the signal was still going to be at reduced power.

We don't mind a aggravation and venting, but let's make sure we have our facts straight.

Heck at this point, Ill be happy if FAUX just broadcasts at high power for the Packer games.  Let em drop it back down for the rest.  Now that I have not been getting FAUX, I have obviously not been watching it and once they do broadcast at full power, I probably wont be tuning back in except for Packer games.

One question, though.  Will this season even be in HD or will it be in that enhanced wide screen BS that they tried to pull in the past?

borghe

up to six NFL games will be in HD this fall.. what this basically means is they are capable of carrying six games every week. if there are more than six it is assumed that the "least important" games will be in SD. So as long as the Packers play well we should see most if not all games in HD this year on Fox.

The list that Fox published showed all the GB games they were carrying as HD so that means we get a full season when you add in MNF and Sunday nites.

CBS is the only wild-card at this point.

Just an update to this.  NFL Sunday Ticket blocks out the local game.  They don't take into consideration that our local station is incompetant and incapable of providing  a useable signal.  Therefore, those of us who paid $250 for Sunday Ticket still can't get HD Packer games because of the idiots at WITI.

By the way, the game on channel 12 looks great tonight.
