CBS Digital Sound format

Does any one have any idea what digital format CBS broadcast in? My JVC receiver shows it as digital sound but not in DD 5.1.

It can't be DD 5.1.

CBS is using Dolby Digital 5.1...however WDJT58 is not passing it on to us yet as they don't have their encoder working.  They are sending us Digital Audio but it's not 5.1 yet!

CBS DTV Network Audio is either DD 2.0 or

  DD 5.1 depending upon Program source.

  My ONKYO AV 501 shows DD 5.1 most of the

  time in GBay due to the CBS Local WFRV

  upconverting the DD 2.0 to DD 5.1 using

  the Left & Right Surround Channels only.

 If a CBS local DTV has no DD 5.1 audio

 pass thru equipment...   then DD 2.0 shows locally.....

  My 501 Receiver shows DD EX for 5.1 audio mode....
