I was wondering when CBS will start using a Dolby Digital audio signal. My A/V receiver is set to the optical input, and my DTC-100 is set for auto-select (PCM/DD). When I tune to 1-1, I get a Dolby Pro Logic (not Dolby Digital 2.0) signal. NBC and PBS both have the DD 2.0 signal.
Jim, maybe you can shed a little light on this ? Will CBS ever use a 5.1 audio signal, maybe for a prime-time movie?
Thanks
Matt

Matt;

We went with our current set-up with Dolby Digital pending future changes in fall.  We have had discussions with our network (CBS) and they are considering Dolby 5.1 possibly this fall.
