Milwaukee usually takes it sweet time to get anything...:(

Texas, California and the Carolinas seem to get it first.

But it is a national thing, like the HDNET/INHD/DiscoveryHD/TNT-HD rollouts were.:) Have checked other TWC sites and not found it yet.

So to keep the satellite people from shouting we have ESPN-HD and you're the last holdout, TWC got it.

So Milwaukeeland will get it, hopefully sooner.

At least one thing: We TWC subscribers will have one less thing to scream about, exception being none of the following:
Bravo HD+
(saw it on a Circuit City display for TWC, but not ESPN-HD)
Cinemax HD or Starz! HD

Keep it coming, TWC and thanks in advance...

Man that would be awesome, but as always, I'll believe it when I see it! :D

I would like to think that with the long debate to get ESPN-HD that our local TWC won't f*ck around and we will be see ESPN-HD  no later than mid-week next week. I seem to remember someone saying they never add new channels on the weekend. It would have been great to see it this weekend but since the Badgers didn't end up on ESPN-HD I can wait. (But not too long!!)

If you look at Greg's post in the new latest news section.  It looks like D* is going for the HD knock-out punch with their two new satellites set to launch in 2005, the first being in april.

I am glad for you cable guys who after a long wait, looks like ESPNHD is on the horizon.  I wonder how long it will be before TWC is ready for the new ESPN2-HD set to start in Jan/Feb.

Hope it is soon, the more HD channels provided the better it is for everyone. Competition is great!!!!!

Hopefully it will be on TWC before the pack plays their first ESPN game.

I can wait for TWC Milwaukee to get it, now that I know it is on the way, but it sure would be nice to see the first Sunday night NFL game in HD !!!

This is the only HD complaint that I had regarding TWC, and I had considered multiple times going to dish or dtv, but now that TWC is getting espnhd, I think I'll stay put for a while.

Has anyone called TW yet today to find out when we are getting it turned on and what we need to subscribe to to get it?

ESPN-HD has arrived on Time Warner Cable in

Green Bay as of 8 PM last night.   TW ESPN-HD

Channel is 716.  That Sunday Nite ESPN-HD NFL game

was as bright & flashy as Monday Nite NFL Games !!

Only comment is that is was in DD 2.0, not DD 5.1.....

I pay the TW $7 per month for 4 extra HD add ons:

INHD, INHD2, HDNET, & HDMOVIE and I now

  assume it includes ESPN-HD....

That's 17 more HD NFL games for this season...

plus that single Packer ESPN-HD game now IN HD!!

green bay is a TWC test market (go figure). They ALWAYS get stuff first. Unfortunately that isn't any indication of when TWC Milwaukee will get it.. they always seem to be on the opposite end of the roll out schedule from Green Bay.

I just got off the phone with TWC and they could not give me any info on when this would be turned on.

Green Bay is no test market when it comes to programming.  Look for ESPN HD launching locally (SE WI) sometime this week.  I'm sure Tim Cuprisin will have more specific info in his column soon... or call him at WISN radio Tuesday from 5:30-9 tomorrow for the whole scoop :D...      I think he mentioned in a previous article that he was subbing for one of the morning hosts.
ESPN-HD is being added to the HD package... which currently consists of INHD, INHD2, HDNet & HDNet Movies.  If you only have the basic HD package (Off-air broadcasters, Dicovery etc..), you will need to give a call to TW for a package upgrade.
