New HD Marks 25 Years for

To celebrate ESPN's 25th anniversary, which takes place this week, the sports programmer unveiled that in January it will launch ESPN2 HD, its second high-def service. ESPN2 HD will debut as a simulcast of ESPN2 and will include more than 100 live telecasts in its first year of operation, featuring college football and basketball, Little League World Series, Major League Baseball and the National Hockey League.
