As FOX6 is a customer of mine, I do have e-mail addresses and asked the following of John Baich, WP-Engineering & Operations.
Do you plan on meeting the FCC deadline for WITI-DT or are you filing for an extension?

RESPONSE:
We intend to meet the deadline unless the FCC holds up our STA request past May 1st.  We have requested to move the transmitter to our studio tower while work is being completed on our main tower.

SO GANG there's the latest on Channel 6 (or 33 if you want to get technical).

Ever wonder why the big secret?  I would think they'd billboard this on their web site and promote the hell out of it. There's no down side to doing that.

From the Chicago Sun-Times yesterday:

Quote* John Baich, chief engineer at WITI-TV in Milwaukee, has been hired as vice president of operations at WFLD-Channel 32. He succeeds Randy King, who joined WTTW-Channel 11 as executive vice president for television.

Oh oh ... what does this do for DTV here ?
