1-3 gone?

Can anyone else confirm?  I have been meaning to ask, but I keep forgetting.  For me it has been gone for a while.  Not that I miss it in the least bit.

No OTA signal for 1-3 with my Samsung 360 and my LG HDDVR.  What programming is on this channel?  I don't believe I've ever even checked it before?

I don't get OTA, but I helped my bro-in-law configure a Samsung box a while back. I believe that 1-2 was WMLW and 1-3 was WYTU, a Spanish language channel.

Come on now, isn't anyone going to shout "hurray! Less multicasting! Better picture quality!" ?

I haven't seen it for at least 2-3 weeks.  I don't normally watch that channel, but I surf through it occasionally.  When I scan for channels, my receiver stills puts in in the program guide, but there's no content.

Its been a while since 1-3 has been gone.

WDJT-TV58's TV Engineer used to post messages here.  I haven't seen him post anything in a long while.  Only he can offer information regarding this.

I don't believe 1-3 was there all summer.

It's been gone since the Olympics on NBC started.  hopefull it won't comeback on 1-3.. I don't mind it there as long as it's not sharing bandwidth with CBS now if only wmlw would get it's own channel ala 55.

Removing this waste of bandwidth will certainly be a positive.

Ya I noticed it gone for a couple of weeks now.  Now what is needed is to drop that multi cast altogether and open up the band width for CBS HD;)
