ESPN announces January launch of ESPN 2 - HD and March launch of ESPN U, a college sports offering.

Does a second HD channel push the TWC hand at all or is it just more ammunition for the Satellite folks??

ESPN HD programming may be an out for TWC
 in terms of NFL HD programming available....

  Should FOX HD not agree to a TWC NFL HD feed....

  and ESPN HD not agree to offer an OTA NFL HD feed....

  TWC could then offer the ESPN HD NFL games on TWC...
       as a half loaf of HD NFL programming....

   In summary IF TWC can not offer both FOX HD NFL &
       ESPN HD NFL games in HD...  

     then TWC has a NFL programming  hole...
         OR  the NFL fans will vent their NFL HD feelings...

    And how many HD NFL fans really do exist?  Enough ?
