Besides the HD package and NFL Sunday Ticket, does D* broadcast anything in HD?  I've heard talks of USA, TNT, SCI-FI and a few other stations in HD, but it looks like D* isn't supporting it.  Any TWC or VOOM customers getting these stations in HD?

Directv has the following in HD available

ESPN-HD
Discovery HD Theater
HD-Net
HdNet Movies
CBS network Feed
HD Pay Per View Movies
HBO-HD
Showtime-HD

At times there are other special HD programming...

Right now they have the full NBC Olympics Feed.

The only thing that they've hinted about adding (well actually commented on), is FOX Network HD.  Originally FOX was supposed to have their Network running at 720p by the All Star Game, Then it was PreSeason Football, now they say when FootBall starts.  It's not a local station problem, it's a FOX network problem from what I've heard...the network feed isn't operating yet.

So nothing as far as USA or TNT at all?  That's a shame.  I've got the HD package and love HDNET.  Love the Champ Car racing and am starting to like MLS soccer because it looks so damn good.

there is no USA in HD. People at D* say BravoHD+ will be up on Tuesday. Further rumor is it will also be reworked around the end of the year to incorporate more newly acquired NBC channels onto it (possibly with a new channel name).

TNT is also said to be "soon" by employees.. as early as mid-September, though nothing as certain as BravoHD+. Only time will tell. Though much of TNT is still stretched and/or upconverts.

doh, I forgot to mention the NBC channels.. lol..

supposedly USA and Sci-Fi programming will be worked into the new BravoHD+ format (again, channel is likely to be renamed). Sci-Fi and USA Networks were previously owned by Vivendi Universal which was now bought (at least a good portion of it) by GE who also owns NBC.
