WISN-DT Off The Air!

As of this writing, July 15th @ 4:40 pm. They are Off The Air.

The last time I watched 12-DT was Monday the 12th of July and everything was fine with good signal strength.  Today, Thursday the 15th, I get no signal at all.  Zero!  Has something changed at CH 34?  I'm still getting every other DT channel just fine, and I can't imagine anything could have happened to my antenna.  I'm in Whitefish Bay, less than 1 mile from all the tower farms.  Strange this is.

I can't pick it up either.  They appear to be off the air.

Thats probably why I can now get FOX 6 digital with my Hauppauge card, because 34 is not over powering it.

fantastic.  I come home to watch my recorded copy of the 2hr series finale of Kingdom Hospital only to find this.

I just called WISN and spoke with someone who didn't even know it was off the air.  He put me on hold (hopefully called someone) and came back to tell me "yeah I guess it is down.  I really don't know what caused it or when it's coming back tho."

Sorry, all. Other stuff was going on and I wasn't online last evening. (Prep for father-in-law's 70th B-Day)

WISN is in repair status. If all goes well, primetime Friday programming should be back on.

I'll post as I find out more.

Man did I luck out, I had my antenna pionted toward Chicago (to get the Soundstage in 5.1), so I recorded Kingdom Hospital from WLS.

They were late on their electric bill and Wisconsin Electric cut them off.:cool:
