Thanks to WITI-TV for getting their DTV back on the air.  It was a pleasure to watch Malcolm's 6:30 pm showing in Widescreen.
There is scheduled another showing at 8:00 pm.

that you can get it...

Although tonite for the first time, my box registered a signal - I've never been able to get one before (I check every day)

That being said, it was unwatchable - it wouldn't hold the signal, and a lot of pixelation.

I'm hoping my HDTivo which comes tomorrow will have a better tuner than my Zenith HD520 box - and then I'll be able to watch FOX

FYI - I live in Lisbon - Hwy Q and Lake Five Road - you'd think I'd be able to get a signal out here, wouldn't you?  All the other digital channels come in...

Hey, neighbor !! I'm on Q and Appleton !

Do you go to the Roadside Inn ??

Keeping the thread on target: I'm having no problems with FOX6-1 ... perhaps a small antenna pointing adjustment for you ??

Roadside Inn?  Is that the one on Hwy Q, just west of 164 - with the great Friday fish Fries?  If that is the same one that I'm thinking of, yes, I'd been there quite a few times.

As far as antenna pointing - I had American install the antenna in the attic - I just built a house and they did the whole house wiring.  I wouldn't be very good at going up there and doing it - nor would I know which way to point it and not lose the channels that I am currently getting.

I can handle the components and wiring on the normal levels of the house - but I doubt that I'd be much good at crawling around the attic.  Plus, if I remember right, the antenna is jammed in there between beams, so I don't know if there is much room to move it.

Do you need a signal meter or something like that to aim it properly - or is it just trial and error?

Yep. That's the one ! My wife knows the owner and I have an uncle that's a regular there.

As far as the antenna pointing, for me to get FOX well, I turn to more easterly than the other stations. You may need a small tweak. I do it by trial and error as my HD box has no signal meter. :(

The Fox Widescreen looks better than when they were sending the 480p signals out.  The strange flicker is gone too.  I'm guessing some part of their equipment was faulty back in the 480p days of 6-1.  This is definitely DVD quality now.  In the past it was questionable.  More like a $49 Wal-Mart DVD player quality.
