SportsCenter in HD

So sportscenter has had a couple of shows in HD now....

overall it is nice... as time goes on they will have more HD clips, but right now they are sparse... last night some stanley cup stuff on monday night was in HD, and last night they had some baseball and basketball stuff in hd as well...

the studio stuff is very nice, the studio ius pretty slick.. it is also nice to have black bars on all of the SD stuff instead of stretched....

For those who have been complaining about ESPN-HD, well, IMHO they just managed to take one giant step forward with this... and with the percentage of HD sports growing, both on ESPN as well as just in general, it only means more HD clips for ESPN and more HD programming on ESPN all around.

And of course the more HD you have on ESPN, the quicker HD takes off to joe six pack...

Joe six pack's desire for HD-sports during Super Bowl, Olympics and so on, has already raised the number of HDTV set owners.

In the early days of colour TV, nature and sports programmes were what sold consumers on getting that special TV for the living room.
Now it is happening all over again, with HDTV.
