A Quote from JOEK:
"Good post. Alot of us are impatiently waiting to see some additional HD offerings on cable. It is hard to get through the anti TWC clutter on this forum. The 3 forum administrators should be particularly ashame. They rarely miss the opportunity to jump in the middle of a cable dialog string to add some anti TWC bable. I've been trying to figure out what the deal is with this. I thought it would die out over time. It appears the OTA crowd feels if you haven't spent $600-$800 on a STB with a technological half life of 18 months and haven't been on your roof in December adjusting your antenna you don't deserve HDTV."

Joe you are correct and I and maybe others have  been misguided in some of our responses.  It is unjustified for Moderators/Administrators to take these cheap shots when we are supposed to be impartial and provide information to all our wonderful members.  Please accept my apology for any off the cuff remarks I made that weren't called for.  I for one will be sitting back and thinking before I post.  This forum is for an exchange of information and support to those that are enjoying or looking to enjoy the wonderful world of High Definition Television.

JoeK continue with your insightful and thoughful posts, they are read by many people and you can see that I also take this very seriously.

This forum finds you guilty and sentences you to 20 hours of HDTV sensitivity training.  We also regret to inform you that you'll have to take a number because the classes are full!

I need to apoligize also for being a little over the top with this latest post. Some may have noticed I have tried to make my point with a couple of more subtle posts.  I'm just missing the point of this OTA/Sat vs cable contest.  If someone catches me defending cable or trashing other alternatives please let me have it. More choices is what I would like to see us promoting.  I probably shouldn't be posting at 5:30 AM.  The coffee wasn't ready yet.  That's my excuse. Sorry.
