Did you order one?  I am thinking of ordering one, based on the reviews it's gotten.  Right now, I am able to get almost all OTA channels except CBS (and Fox of course), so I have to consider whether It'd be worth it to get one extra channel.  But for $20 it seems worth it.  And, I'll be even happier once the football season starts, if the antenna works.

Yah, I ordered one.  However, I'm not getting my HDTV delivered until next Tuesday.  Once I hook it up, I'll let you know how it goes.

BigShooter

Cool, thanks.  I am really interested to hear how you like it.  I assume you have directv.  Right?  If so, did you get the deal that included the OTA antenna thrown in?

beckkl

No, I just have standard cable.  I'm thinking of getting direct TV soon.  Anyway I hooked it up, and it seems to pull in all the channels quite nicely (except fox).  I don't even have to mess with the antenna for certain channels.  I do have a question though.  How does an OTA antenna work with DirectTV?  Does it just plug in to the unit, and you can surf the channels as if they were all coming in from the sat?  Or do you have to switch inputs like I do now?

If you get a HD Sat Box they have the ATSC tuner in them.  So if you look at the channel lineup on my guide (for Example Ch 12), you'll see ML12 (Sat feed ch 12), 12 (OTA), 12.1 Digital HD OTA.  With the HD boxes all the locals actually map to the real channel number with the Directv feeds being the first one (ML12 comes before WISN12).  So there is no swapping inputs, just key in the channel number and go.

Cool, that would probably be the better than having to switch inputs...  My poor tivo is going to have to go away!

I ordered my Zenith ZHD-TV1, and got it yesterday.  I AM FINALLY ABLE TO GET CBS-58!!!  I am ecstatic!

I got mine at 4compuelectron.com, for about 18 bucks.  Let me say this, it is the best $18 I've spent in a long time.  I strongly recommend this antenna to anyone looking for an indoor option.  I am able to get a clear signal for all OTA MPTV stations and all main locals (except for FOX, of course).

This little sucker works better than the 2 Radioshack indoors I've tried, and a streamline set-top job (can't remember the name, but I paid about $40 at BB for it. It had the most annoying, piercing  blue light that stayed on all the time and drove me nuts.)

Very Impressed with this baby.

Were either of those 2 Radio Shack antennas the little double bow tie?

If not, has anyone compared this Zenith to the RS double bow tie?

BigShooter

Nope, I wanted to try the bowtie job, but they were out of stock.  For the life of me I can't recall the models (only had each for a day or so, since they sucked).  I also tried there powered amp (with adjustible gain) and it did nothing either.  Go with the Silver Sensor, baby.  It's the real deal.
