No HD for Leno

We just were notified today by NBC that the Tonight Show will NOT be in HD tonight (5/6) because of "production constraints" (what ever that means.)

The NBC email also says the Tonight Show will NOT be in HD next week ( 5/10 though 5/14).. no reason was given.

Today's show is supposed to be Live that's why it's not HD I guess its from WB set so Fiends not being HD guess WB is saving money since all the "friends" get 1 mil per episode this year.

Also next week Leno is in Vegas.

They have the cams for Leno and use them outside and at other locales everyday, they're just being cheap.

I've never been one to defend any station for not spending money on HD and am not gonna start now.  I think can can use to spend some cash on HD what do they have 2 shows in HD??

Perhaps they used up their credit card limit.  Unable to take out other loans since they already have other loans to pay off.  Unless they put some of their TV stations they owned up for collateral.
