Turner, DISH Make it Official

Both sides made it official: Turner Broadcasting System and EchoStar's DISH Network said they have signed an affiliation agreement that allows for continued distribution of core Turner channels.

The companies said they had reached an agreement in principle Thursday, and made the formal announcement late Friday. Networks part of the agreement include CNN, CNN Headline News, Cartoon Network, Turner Classic Movies (TCM), Turner South, Boomerang, CNNfn and CNN en Espanol.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
