An update of sorts on ESPN and TWC if they haven't been mentioned before.

Apparently the big hold up is that Disney is trying to use ESPN-HD as a renegotiation for the entire ESPN package with TWC.. Unfortunately their contract isn't up for quite a while (2007 to be exact). TWC on the other hand is demanding that Disney just rolls ESPN-HD into the existing contract...

Either way from what it sounds like, ESPN-HD isn't coming to TWC anytime soon. TWC will have to cave for renegotiations as I can't believe they will leave their customers out in the cold for another 3 years with ESPN-HD. The question then remains will they be able to get it cheap enough to not have to stick it in an HD package.

Well, I know it is from another TWC location,  but they at least have an answer I can live with...
maybe by the time TWC figures out how to give us subscribers  what every satellite and other cable company subscribers
(in other parts of the country not served by TWC)
-there will be more HD in ESPN-HD.

In this TWC  undestands it needs to get it...I  just wonder how much.
