24-2 Did anyone else notice?

Did anybody notice there is now a 24-2 channel.  Does anyone know what it is and is 24 going to go HD in the near future.?

This is sure interesting.  My guess is they are experimenting with their DTV transmitters.

24-2 is a re-broadcast of WVTV-DT in SD.  Where at WVTV-DT 18-1 is the SD, and 18-2 is the test pattern in HD.

Otherwise I don't know whats up with that?

Eventually I expect WCGV to do HDTV programming in the future, though I don't think UPN offers very much in HD programming whereas the WB does and I believe they are still waiting for HD equipment to be able to start broadcasting WB programming in HD on 18-2.

Took note that WVTV-DT which broadcasts on ch. 61 is off the air, in the meantime WVTV-DT programming can be seen on 24-2.

They must be doing some transmitter work or something. Who knows whats happenin?
