Outdoor Channel to launch HD channel

America's Outdoor Channel will launch a high-definition channel in July 2005, it was confirmed on Tuesday.

Outdoor Channel 2 HD will simulcast some OC programming in HD, as well as some HD programmes unique to OC2. Most importantly though, the channel will not rely on upconverts to fill its schedule; the channel will be programmed entirely in high-definition.
