WB co-chairman Jordan Levin noted that Smallville has followed in the footsteps of some previous Frog hours by "returning significant value to our studio partners. Its recent robust off-net sale to ABC Family and HD-Net of over three-quarters of a million dollars (per episode) came in a marketplace that has not been kind to many new entrants." It was also noted that Smallville is still the WB's top show in the many target demographics.

Does this translate to getting Smallville reruns on HDNET in HD for the near future? :cool:

Now, all they have to do is take some of the other WB shows and recycle them, broadcast them in HD on HDNET, along with Paramount's Star Trek Enterprise, which even upconverted, if not all of it was filmed in HD, would be more viewable that the SD Sinclair puts out for either network, WB or UPN.
