I thought today's Masters coverage was to be in HD????

I'm not getting it that way - is this a CBS thing, or just our local affiliate having problems???

Steely

It was in HD for the first 45 minutes or so, but it's now SD here in Waukesha.  I waited all week (all year) for this?????  Very frustrating!!!

Nevermind, it just switched back to HD.  Must have needed a reboot.  :)

It seems like play started early too. Usually the leaders don't tee off until after the broadcast starts. They're already on the 3rd hole.

Also they didn't do  Masters intro they usually do at the opening of the broadcast.

Something seems to be "up".

oh... It started at 12:30??

The announced yesterday they would be teeing off early as they expect bad weather in the later portion of the day.

Anyone else getting choppy audio? I am here in Racine with OTA setup. VERY ANNOYING!  Yeah Jim is this you guys or the network's deal? I havn't seen anything on the AVS forum about it. Hope it's not on my end, but with a soid signal and no problems with other channels, I doubt it.

ps. CBS needs to figure out how to get rid of the SD camera's, they suck!

This is getting pretty bad two black-outs in ten minutes, the last one with pink noise. Take that back its 3 in 30 mins. The past 2 days were great, what's UP?

Yep, same problems in Waukesha. Several black outs and continuing choppy sound. Was expecting much better. The USA feed on DirecTV channel 84 Thursday and Friday was tremendous, both picture and sound.

During the Green Jacket ceremony, the sound was still popping...

Great Masters this year, poor quality of broadcast..

Couldn't our local CBS fix this over a 6 hour period????

It would be nice to have the CBS guy at least respond and explain why this was done so poorly - maybe there's an explanation that makes sense...

My guess - it was Easter Sunday, so they didn't want to call any tech's in to fix the problem.

It started having the same problem when it went back to HD for the Patriot. It was fine for 60 minutes (have too watch once and awhile, for a laugh). What a disappoint!
