White spot on RPTV

Have a Sony KP-57HW40, There is a white dot on the screen about half way up on the right side about ten inchs from the side frame, Is this a gun problem? Tried cleaning mirrors and screen from inside no go . Any thoughts. Basicly on this one spot about 1/8 inch in dia, it is washed out or white always. Thanks Budda
