Now that WTMJ-HD and WISN-HD are on Time Warner (and look GREAT), why the hold-up with CBS-HD?

It all has to do with negotiations with the station and TWC.....I think something about the ownership at 58 has always made it hard to do these things....they were one of the last locals to be offered by Directv for their normal feed.  They usually get their negotiations done...but not as timely as the others.

That's what I have been saying all along. DIRECTV took months before CBS58's "management" decided to work with them. I think it has something to do with TWC carrying their other nonHDTV  stations on the TWC system. Until TWC caves in, Weigel Broadcasting(if that still them) will deny its HD station to TWC. I have asked DISH Network reps in the past about why they ignore Milwaukee for locals and CBS58 was cited as the reason, something about "difficult negotiations". DISH wants to (or has to due to govt. mandates), carry all or none of the locals in the Milwaukee DMA...thank CBS58 management, again.
I'd go to DISH instead of DIRECTV, so I could get Discovery HD instead of HDNET anyday, especially what with Murdoch getting so chummy with DIRECTV again, but locals on sat are a must where I live. CBS has more HD programming than the other broadcast networks, so it is important 58-1 be included in the TWC HD lineup. WB channel 18 will probably come next, as WB18 is Warner as in Time Warner, assuming their management doesn't mess it up, too. I can hardly wait to see  Everwood and Smallville in HD.

What are their other stations?  Just curious.

41 and 63...they are simulcast also as 1-2 and 1-3.

Just received the updated Time Warner digital lineup in the mail.  The HD channels are moving to the 500's in December.  Prominent mention of WTMJ-HD and WISN-HD, but WDJT-HD is conspicuously absent.

741 and 763 have been on for several months.  WDJT-HD, while available OTA, has apparently NOT been made available to TWC, as evidenced by Time Warner's response to customer requests for WDJT-HD:  "We'll add WDJT-HD as soon as it's made available to us."
WTMJ-HD and WISN-HD are already on channels 504 and 512 respectively.  From this cable viewer's perspective, the CBS hold-up does NOT appear to be caused by Time Warner.

I hope that Jim Hall will enlighten us please.  Thanks!
