PROGRAMMING: NBA TV in HD on DirecTV

DirecTV entered into an agreement with the NBA to offer a four-hour block of high-def programming from NBA TV, the league's 24-hour channel. NBA TV programming will include live NBA games, post-game shows and the channel's nightly studio program, NBA TV Live.

Free Preview Weekend! - Starz Encore Group and DirecTV are offering an exclusive free preview weekend of the premium movie channel service to customers of the satellite TV company beginning today and running through Sunday, March 14. During the Starz! Free Preview Weekend, DirecTV subscribers who do not normally receive the Starz Super Pak will have free access to the 12 channels. Movies include some of Hollywood's biggest blockbusters such as "Chicago" and "The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers."

Clapton on Sirius - Eric Clapton will make a rare and exclusive radio appearance on Sirius Friday, March 19, at 6 p.m. Eastern. Clapton will be a guest DJ with host Pat St. John on Sirius Blues, channel 29. The show will be repeated on Monday, March 22, on Sirius Classic Vinyl, channel 14 at Noon Eastern.
