MILWAUKEE - Saturday's NIT contest between the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and Boise State in Nampa, Idaho, will be available to most Milwaukee-area television viewers on cable channel 584.
The channel, which is currently supplementing CBS-58's coverage of the NCAA Tournament, is available to all Time Warner cable subscribers who have a set-top cable box, as well as Charter Cable viewers in Washington and Dodge Counties who have a similar box.
The contest tips off at 8:35 p.m. CST from the Idaho Center.

this is great news.  I've been looking through wmlw and espn, and could see that the game isn't on.  Glad TWC is picking it up for the few panther fans that are in Milwaukee.

TWC is only showing these games because they are receiving them from WDJT and WMLW via the digital signal on WDJT-DT...so don't go giving credit to TWC, it's actually Jim Hall and CBS58 that's doing this.

i just wish they posted some kind of schedule on one of the multicast channels...

They also had the Panther game on OTA on channel 1-5. It was a very nice surprise to be flipping around and finding that, too bad for the out come though. I think the multi-casting was a good move for the early rounds, though with the limited time those extra channels are in use, you would think there could eventually be a more efficent way to do both HD and multi-casting. From here out it should be a crap-load of  HD games and thats good, lets hope it looks better than some of the quaility of some of the multi-cast games. If I had one complaint about the MC is that the quaility on some of those games made them almost unwatchable.
Thanks Jim Hall, lets all remember that in the grand scheme of things, its pretty darn early, if the broadcaster's don't try to use the capabilities of the format, we may never no what it can do.

What really makes me mad, is that after reading about all the deals made between the NBA and teams and networks. Every sunday's there good match-ups, on one of the HD broadcast leaders, in SD crap. WHY?
