I was pleasantly surprised when I noticed a complete over the air programming guide with your signal.  10-1/10-2/10-3/10-4/10-5 is the only other "station" offering this.  4-1 offers a partial guide.  Everybody else offers nothing.

So not only do you provide the only Dolby Digital 5.1 sound, you also provide HD special events like the Oscars and State of the Union, HD sports like Monday Night Football, HD movies with DD 5.1 sound, and of course Alias!

Keep up the good work!  You are the clear #1 HD provider in Milwaukee (just my opinion)

very nice... though I don't know if I would call them the leader.. I think "most" stations here do an excellent job, but all have had their drawbacks..

WTMJ was on the air the earliest, but it took a LOOONG time for NBC to actually provide an adequate amount of programming..

WDJT has CBS which far and away has the most HD programming, but being on 1-1 has hurt some, and multi-casting on 1-2 and 1-3 has affected most of us at one time or another.

WISN has a ton of programming and everything you mention, but let's not forget that it took WISN quite some time past the 5/1/2002 deadline to get up on the air..

WMVS was second on the air, but had little programming, and not all HD programming was passed through..

my preference though for actual leader would believe it or not be WMVT. 24/7 HD. All PBS HD programming. Local Milwaukee HDTV programming. Interesting content to boot. What more could you ask for. :)

I won't go into the other stations, just to keep this thread clean.. :p

We are all entitled to our opinions of course.

I judge by current conditions, forgiving the past.

36-1 might get my vote if they had a program guide and Dolby Digital 5.1 sound.  But they don't have those things right now.

This is the one case where I'm very happy with my Sony Sat/Ota box as it receives program info from the Satellite and takes care of all of that.  I have full program info on all the HD/Dig channels except for Ch4 which is partial just like it was OTA with my RCA receiver.  So I guess they just aren't submitting their program info for some reason.  However this actually doesn't make sense as they simulcast their analog signal so the info is identical.  Oh well it works....and you know it's been a couple years since I kept the TV Schedule from the newspaper in the Family room.  I just look thru it on Sunday to see if there is anything interesting this week, otherwise I just use the guide on the TV's....isn't technology great!

I think WDJT (CBS) is the best, based on programming available and overall visual quality (but PLEASE put Survivor in HD).

WISN (ABC) is a very close second because you just can't beat the 5.1 sound.

WTMJ (NBC) just has far too many shows that aren't in HD yet.

Well the program guide went away as quickly as it appeared.  :(

Maybe they will bring it back at some point.

That didn't take long.  I guess WISN-DT wants to be #1....
