Channel 12 to upgrade its high-definition broadcast system

Hearst-Argyle Television Inc. plans to upgrade the digital transmission capabilities at 26 of its television stations, including WISN-DT, the high-definition broadcast of WISN-Channel 12 in Milwaukee. Hearst-Argyle has selected Cincinnati, Ohio-based Harris Corp.'s Broadcast Communications Division to upgrade the digital transmitters at the stations. Hearst-Argyle is majority owned by The Hearst Corp.
