Yamaha Rxv-2400

Folks,

I'm getting ready to upgrade my receiver to a Yamaha Rxv-2400. I'm considering picking it up at American. I think I can work a pretty good deal there. Anyone have any comments or experience with this unit? I've researched the receiver for a while now, but wanted to check with my local contemporaries to make sure I have covered all my bases.

I love my Yamaha receiver.  I don't have your model, but I can say that when I buy a new one at some point, I will strongly consider this brand.

I don't have that model either, but I do have a Yamaha. I really like their product.

Thanks guys. I picked the receiver up tonight. Had to go to Al's Stereo in Racine as everyone here 'in town' were out of stock.

So.. Now, I just have to find some free time to install and configure it. I can't wait.

Got it all installed and balanced. It sounds awesome. What a receiver. There are so many options, features and inputs. I'm very happy with this unit.

Additionally, I wanted to say another word about Al's Stereo in Racine. This was my first transaction with them and I found them to be a great resource. Mike (the sales manager) was more than generous enough to price match a VERY competitive price I was quoted at American. Even though American didn't have any in stock! If you're on the south side, or can't find what you need locally, be sure to give these guys a chance to help you out.
