Anyone else see "Gladiator"?

Just had to comment on Monday Night ABC Movie "Gladiator" in Hi-Def. What a gorgeous transfer of 35MM film. It's interesting how DVDs look impressive on first blush on the larger screens, but then when you see true HDTV resolution programming derived from a film master, the subtle details really start to pop, and closeups of faces reveal what HDTV is capable of.

When you can see the actual film grain of the print passing through the telecine, and see the little "blips" of print defects, you really get the impression that you are seeing ALL the detail in the print for sure!
